This is a very large property, and just a short walk from the centre of the village. Located just below the historic castle of Teba, the house has 7 bedrooms, two living rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the lower floor. Solidly built into the rock, with thick walls, rooms go off in all directions! Also on the lower floor, it has a kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, and a small terrace, with steps leading to a large plot of land. The top floor has three bedrooms, which have beamed ceilings and whitewashed walls.
The land runs sideways, behind a number of neighbour's properties, on either side of the house. The current owner is the envy of all the neighbours, because he has many different kinds of fruit and vegetables growing, right by his back door. From the back of the property, there are good views of the village and surrounding countryside. The property has town water, and also has it's own well, which is ideal for watering the land, since mains water is metered in Spain, and mains electricity. Almost across the road from this house is the local shop, which is very typically Spanish, right in someone's front room. At the end of the street is a selection of friendly bars, and from here, you have views right the way down the valley, to the nearby lakes. All the neighbours are very friendly, and will chatter away to any visitors.
