This property is huge. With it comes a huge tract of land, with spectacular views of the river in the bottom. The house is very solid, but is not decorated to modern standards. There would be no problem about living on the property whilst renovating. Nearly all rooms are habitable, but in need of modernisation. Some rooms lead into animal pens, which are built in stone, to allow the animals to stay in the house in the winter. Your choice, of course!
There are two buildings, and the smaller one is currently used as kitchen and dining room, and has a huge open fire in one corner. There is a storeroom leading from this room. In the other, larger building, is another living room, and from this leads off a bedroom, a storeroom that leads to the animal pens, and a staircase.
Up the solid stone staircase can be found a room, which is currently used for hanging meats, but in fact takes almost the full size of the house. Leading from this is another bedroom.
Outside are various storerooms, and a courtyard containing a pigpen. Some of the land is being used for growing, especially olives. |
